Who runs this website
Duch.Lab is the personal portfolio of Volodymyr Duch, based in Ukraine. I am responsible for the personal information handled for this portfolio. This page explains what happens when you browse, view project previews or get in touch. No account is needed.

When you email me
The contact page offers email links, not a submission form. Opening a link starts your email app; it does not send a message by itself. If you send an email, I receive your address, any name you include and the message, and use them to reply and discuss your enquiry. Please avoid sending sensitive information you do not need to share.
My retention period for enquiry emails is 90 days. This is managed in my Gmail mailbox; the website does not automatically delete emails. This period does not set the retention of providers' technical logs or backups. Email is also handled by your own provider. See Google's privacy policy for its handling of email data.
Settings on your device
Your theme choice is saved in local storage as duch-theme until you clear this site's stored data. Session storage uses duch-intro-viewed to avoid replaying the homepage introduction in the same browser tab session.
These settings stay in your browser; the portfolio does not send them to a tracking service. You can remove them through your browser's site-data settings. This will reset the saved preferences.
Live previews & external links
Some project previews load the original website inside this page. A live preview loads only after you select Explore live; scrolling alone does not load it. Once loaded, its operator receives connection information such as your IP address and browser details, and may use cookies, storage or analytics according to its own policies and your browser settings.
Opening an original project also takes you to a separately operated website. Its privacy rules apply there. Your browser's controls for third-party cookies and embedded content may limit these features. Recorded videos and screenshots are media, not live connections to the original project website.
Technical data & analytics
Vercel hosts this website. Cloudflare provides traffic delivery, caching and protection, and Cloudflare R2 stores project videos served through media.duchlab.com. Requests to these services include an IP address, the requested URL and browser information. Technical logs may be processed to deliver content, diagnose faults and protect the site.
These providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside Ukraine. Their privacy and data-processing information describes their handling of data, retention and transfer safeguards: Vercel Privacy Notice, Vercel Data Processing Addendum and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
The application does not add visitor-analytics scripts or advertising pixels. This does not exclude hosting and security services' traffic reporting or the independent websites inside live project previews.
Your questions & choices
You can ask what information is held about you, how it is used and who receives it. To request access, correction or deletion, or object to processing, email [email protected]. Requests are considered under applicable data-protection law; some information may need to be retained for legal obligations.
In Ukraine, you can also contact the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, or another competent authority where applicable. Questions about data held by an external project website should be addressed to its operator. This notice will be updated when the portfolio's data-handling features change.
