Duch.Lab is the personal portfolio of Volodymyr Duch. This page explains what happens when you browse the portfolio, view project previews or get in touch. You do not need an account to explore.

When you email me
The contact page offers email links, not a submission form. Opening a link starts your email app; it does not send a message by itself. If you send an email, I receive your address, any name you include and the message, and use them to reply and discuss your enquiry. Please avoid sending sensitive information you do not need to share.
Email is handled by your provider and my Gmail mailbox. Message retention is managed in the mailbox, not by this website; the site does not automatically delete emails. See Google's privacy policy for its handling of email data.
Settings on your device
Your theme choice is saved in local storage as duch-theme until you clear this site's stored data. Session storage uses duch-intro-viewed to avoid replaying the homepage introduction in the same browser tab session.
These settings stay in your browser; the portfolio does not send them to a tracking service. You can remove them through your browser's site-data settings. This will reset the saved preferences.
Live previews & external links
Some project previews load the original website inside this page. A live preview can load automatically as you scroll near it, before you click. Its operator receives connection information such as your IP address and browser details, and may use cookies, storage or analytics according to its own policies and your browser settings.
Opening an original project also takes you to a separately operated website. Its privacy rules apply there. Your browser's controls for third-party cookies and embedded content may limit these features.
Technical data & analytics
Loading pages and media sends technical requests to the services delivering them. These include an IP address, the requested URL and browser information. Hosting and content-delivery services may process technical logs to deliver content, diagnose faults and protect against abuse.
The portfolio itself has no visitor-analytics integration, advertising pixels or account-registration system. This does not describe the independent websites inside live project previews.
Your questions & choices
You can ask about information you have sent me, request access or correction, or ask for deletion by emailing [email protected]. Requests are considered under applicable data-protection law; some information may need to be retained for legal obligations.
Where applicable, you can also contact your local data-protection authority. Questions about data held by an external project website should be addressed to its operator. This notice will be updated when the portfolio's data-handling features change.
